Tips to Avoid Rejection of Canadian Student Visa

You have to careful while applying for student visa for Canada. Here are some tips to avoid rejection of Canadian Student Visa.

  1.  Your selected course must be relevant to previous studies.  If it is not relevant then it may cause student visa rejection. More over it is better that proposed course is based on your strength in previous studies. For example if a student has selected IT for further studies and he did not study math previously or he got just passing marks in math, then his visa may be rejected, because math is compulsory to study IT. So select the course carefully to avoid student visa rejection.
  2.  Visa application form is required to fill properly and with correct information.
  3.  Occupations and income of parents and family members should be filled correctly in the application form. If family members also have some income, mention it in the application form. It will be plus point for you. 
  4.  You have to show enough funds for fees and living expenses otherwise student visa may be rejected.  So try to show as much funds as possible.
  5.  Application submission timings are important. Try to submit application as early as possible, because early applicants have advantage over late applicants. So apply for visa 3 to 4 months before the intake. It will give extra advantage.
  6.  Pay your fees and dues directly from home country. Don't pay from Canada. It may be considered as negative point.
  7.  Study gap may cause student visa rejection. Suppose you have completed the undergraduate in 2015 and you are applying for further studies in 2018. It means that you have gap in your studies. Try to avoid the gaps in study. In other case you have to provide a valid reason for gap in study.
